Houston is especially proud and fortunate to have Ron. He has been a great player, contributor and leader for Houston Handball and the USHA for over 40 years. |
| Ron Emberg, also known nationwide as 'The Iron
Man', has been a handball player for over 50 years. He has won over
20 USHA National 4 Wall Championships and won the Houston City
Championship in 1970. His strong support as both a leader and
financial contributor is a
major reason that the USHA national organization survived its financial
and operational troubles in the early 80's. Ron is also especially proud of his wife of 18 years, Susan, his son Mike Emberg, and his daughters, Kelly Emberg (a former supermodel), Ree Emberg, and two grandchildren.
